Our Story

Owned and managed by husband and wife team Joel and Alisha, The Quality Inn Carriage House is a family run motel, restaurant and function centre located just outside Wagga's Central business district - its the perfect destination for the corporate or leisure traveller.

We are more than just your typical country motel. Of course we have your accommodation needs sorted - with 38 beautifully presented rooms and suites, offering a super comfy, quiet place to rest overnight. Hungry? We have you covered there too. We have a passionate and talented team of chefs who lovingly create seasonal menus, utilising local produce and all served by our super friendly team in Clancy's Restaurant. We pride ourselves on our customer service, put a lot of time nurturing relationships with our customers, and want to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

2018 has seen the Quality Inn Carriage House awarded a Choice Hotels Asia-Pac Gold Award. Gold Awards are presented to properties that demonstrate a high level of guest satisfaction within their brand as determined by Likelihood to Recommend scores from guests. As well as a properties commitment and support of all Choice Hotels programs and initiatives.

Although the Carriage House is one of the original motels in Wagga, with the first stages being built in 1980, Joel and Alisha became proud owners of the property in late 2015 after a long search for a motel they could call their own. Since taking ownership of the property, they have transformed the rooms, undertaking a full motel refurbishment in their first year, as well as updates to reception, the restaurant, function centre and grounds. No mean feat for a young couple, but having both studied Tourism & Hospitality in Sydney, and with over 38 years between them working in hotels, tourism and event companies here and overseas, they have taken it in their stride and proudly call the Quality Inn Carriage House and Wagga Wagga home.
